Suddenly a global change has come in my style. This was due to the fact that I experienced a deep tragedy in my life and I needed to become more courageous and firm. The former style did not fit as it was more gentle and soft.







Sometimes clothes are not only a reflection of the inner essence of a person, but they also create a protective shell or armor to make your inner essence resilient to attacks from the outside, or simply helps to be fit or to improve self-control.



So from the 1950s and early 1960s, I moved into the late 1960s and 1970s. 






So from the 1950s and early 1960s, I moved into the late 1960s and 1970s. I was attracted to a set of styles - hippie, country, rocker, biker, military, a little fantasy...










I used high boots, rough shoes, secondhand jeans, shorts, jackets, vests, shirts, short dresses, handbags made from recycled jeans, rough belts from 1980-1990s, decorative metallic massive chain for belt (which I made myself from old chain, keychain rings and metallic bottle opener from 1980s!), black leather fingerless gloves (made by me from 1966-1968s gloves damaged at the fingertips), leather bracelets (my favorites were made from decorative straps obtained from old boots), a huge amount of vintage jewelry from the 1970-1980s, scarves, kerchiefs, neckerchiefs, shawls, cloth flowers for hair and head jewelry that I made myself. I sewed them from old leather, made from beads,  weaved with macrame technique. I studied the technique when I was a child but I can’t say that I became a genius in this skill, rather an ordinary amateur. However, I can weave some trifle...

Flea markets are rare in Spain. Mostly they are in large cities such as Barcelona. But they don't exist in my small city.  Small shops partly substitute them. They are widespread everywhere.  While they can’t be called antique, some of them have "antique prices". That is, cheap garbage is sold under the guise of something valuable, very, very expensive. Moreover, often these overpriced items lie on the floor and deteriorate. I call these establishments "flea stores". If you're lucky, you can find cheap, but valuable vintage items.  I found the hat I wear on photos in one of such small flea stores. It was not in the best shape - the veil had deteriorated, the hat itself was badly wrinkled.  So me and my photographer friend (after that we can call ourselves milliners!), had to put in a lot of effort to get it in order. In the modern world, the so-called "fast fashion" rules everywhere. This is when the market depends on the constant purchase of new things, used once or twice, thrown away and bought again ... and so on ad infinitum. Sketch about Summer, Spring & Winter, or I will be missing you, Spring...

To be honest, I don't like summer. My favorite time of year is spring. I like that it is not hot and not cold, but is comfortable in full dress, that is, in a suit: a skirt or dress with a jacket. When I was a child, I loved summer. Always looked forward to something unusual and exciting. Probably because I read too many children's adventure novels. And the highest temperature then, as a rule, was 30 degrees Celsius, not 40 or 50. Now, having grown and becoming a writer myself, I realized that something unusual and exciting is happening without reference to the season. In general, in Spain, summer is a nightmare. Heat, insects, tourists, dust, burning desert wind, dirty streets, sizzling sun, a minimum of fresh air, a maximum of bad, noise and din...
