Warm spring outfit in style of 1950s in the spirit of the 1930s with real vintage fitted jacket & sheath skirt

I love green, to say the least. This color goes well with my green eyes, calms me down and I associate with fresh spring greenery. But, unfortunately, in my wardrobe there are not so many things of this color. And until the end of last year, I generally had a dominance of black clothes, which weighed me down a lot. Black jackets, black skirts, black pullovers, black hats, black dresses, black gloves, black shoes... Black is good, but always in combination with another color. It shouldn't be in excess. I believe that no matter what time of the year it is on the street - spring, summer, autumn or winter, you always need to be able to be bright. Although some people for some reason believe that in the cool season you need to dress in dark colors. But for what? There are already few bright colors on the street! Cool spring outfit in style of "New Look" with real vintage velvet skirt & egg shell hat

I have long wanted to combine this heavy velvet skirt with a velvet hat, as they match very well in color and texture.  But, unfortunately, they are suitable for different weather. The skirt is very warm, but the hat is cold. So in this outfit it will be good only in a cool autumn, not very warm winter and little bit cool spring, when there is no wind. I wore it in end of February. However, the skirt has the potential for lower temperatures. If it had been longer, it would have turned out to be the 19th century, and so there is something from the "New Look" in it, because, as known, Christian Dior was impressed precisely by the past centuries.  So the 19th century style jacket, in my opinion, suits skirt well, as kind of echo of the past in the fashion of the 1950s.  In addition, I associate this skirt with a bell flower or any other blue flower, which is also associated with Dior, because flowerlike-ladies were his ideal!
