Hot summer outfit in style of 1965-1966s with real vintage shift dress

Unfortunately, most vintage clothes not only missed or lost branded labels, but it was not even known who were the people sewed them.  This because many of them were really good craftsmen and deserve to be known but unfortunately life took a different course.  Every time I find or wear another unnamed masterpiece, I admire and thank these unknown people.  What good master-hands they were! In truth, they had skillful fingers.  After all, creators are not only painters, sculptors, poets and writers, but also tailors and hatters (milliners). So it is with this dress on the presented photos.   This is a real vintage item from the mid 1960s, circa 1965-1966 to be exact, in silk with the classic abstract print you can see on some men's ties.  With a belt, the dress becomes something like a tunic.  It was ideal to combine the dress with a Bretonne hat, especially since this style of hat was just popular in those days.  Bretonne hats have been wo...
