Very hot autumn outfit in style of 1949-1951s with plaid print: vintage swing skirt and silk hat

The plaid print is extremely simple, but meanwhile very beautiful and elegant.  For some reason, its appearance is attributed to the Scots, but I think that this is not correct. Because the plaid can be found in the national costumes of various countries.  For example, antique plaid skirts were kept in the trunks of my maternal great-great-grandmother until the 1970s.  And she, along with her husband, my great-great-grandfather, came from the Baltics. Probably from there my passion for both the plaid print and puffy skirts.  My great-great-grandmother wore many, many petticoats until her death.   That is why this plaid midi swing skirt by “Liz Claiborne” is so close to me. I bought it on sale in a vintage store, it cost 19 euros, but I bought it for 2!
