In the modern world, the so-called "fast fashion" rules everywhere. This is when the market depends on the constant purchase of new things, used once or twice, thrown away and bought again ... and so on ad infinitum. Warm spring outfit in style of Dior & early 1960s with A-line dress & felt lampshade hat with felted flowers

I've had the idea for this hat for a long time. I wanted it to be big and deep, in the shape of a lamp shade, but at the same time, to be decorated with flowers. However, I could not decide on the color and type of flowers. In the end, considering that I have a lot of blue clothes in my wardrobe, but no blue felt hat, and also impressed by the color combination of the Thai silk scarf (I wear it in this look), I settled on the royal blue shade of the hat and the sky blue shade of the flowers.   The Polish hat maker Sylwia Leśniewska (which I have already mentioned in "Warm spring outfit in style of early “New Look” with felt saucer hat with felted flowers" ) managed to bring my idea to life.  The hat turned out to be a true work of art, which, probably, Christian Dior himself would have liked.
