Archive of 2022: Hot autumn outfit in style of late 1940s - early 1950s with combination of Spanish motifs & Dior's "New Look"

This time I'm showing a romantic outfit in the style of the late 1940s - early 1950s. A gathered open neckline with “lowered” shoulders (especially in combination with a long skirt) always brings to mind the hot Spain and a fiery flower in pitch black hair of the legendary beauty Carmen, the heroine of the tragic opera of the same name written by the famous French composer, Georges Bizet. After all, it was from there, that it came to the world of fashion, giving it a "Carmen" blouse and a dress with a "Carmen" bodice. However, in fashion, as always, not everything is so clear or unambiguous, because some similar styles of blouses were often called "peasant" and were worn with alpine Dirndl skirts in folk style.
