This outfit, like the previous one, can also be worn in autumn, winter, and spring. I wore it on a cold day in early April. But with the same success I could wear it in January. I just managed to get this wonderful very warm and super thick coat during the February sale in a vintage store. And in February and early March it was too warm to walk in it. For most of March, Spain was shaken by natural disasters, such as the Saharian “Calima”, rainstorms, hurricane winds and a monochromatic gray sky atypical for Spain without the sun, so walking, and even more so photo shoots, were impossible.
A cool spring can make many people sad, but not me. I was very happy with the cold weather as it provided the perfect opportunity to take my new coat out for a walk. The amazing 1960s dress finally found a match! Because it is also very warm. I can say that modern coats are noticeably thinner than this dress. So its mini length pays off with interest.
I was so warmed by the warm embrace of my clothes that I was able to take off my outer clothes for a few minutes and pose in only one dress.
The coat looks good both with a belt and without a belt, and unbuttoned, and buttoned up.
I always have problems with choosing a coat, because outerwear that is on sale rarely suits me well.
I am wearing:
- Real vintage black-orange-yellow-dark red checkered pure wool coat decorated with large asymmetrical patch pockets by “Ajaton”, Forssa, made in Finland, about 1960s
- Real vintage orange pure wool mod “Space Age” A-line mini dress with three quarter length sleeves and high neck, late 1960s
- Artisan astrakhan fur black hat, made in RF, about 2010s
- Artisan hand-made leather black belt, about 1990s-2000s
- Patent leather black handbag by “Sandino”, about 1990s
- Pure wool dark red gloves, about 1990s-2000s
- Real vintage yellow tights, about late 1960s
- Leather black slip on shoes with mid-high heels, 2010s-2020s, made in Spain
I probably got the late 1960s with a touch of the 1950s! Since the hairstyle and hat are more suitable for the 1950s, and my appearance is closer to the models of past years, and not to Twiggy!
I thought for a long time what hat to combine with this look. Unfortunately, none of them fit, because most of my hats are only suitable for warmer weather. And in warm weather, this coat is too hot to wear.
But still, I think that this look turned out to be interesting, original and, most importantly, bright and cheerful, even despite the presence of black accessories!
